Half a story....

Sadly, we were informed that this was the final book in a Trilogy. Not so; it is quite apparent that there is a follow on and simply a marketing ploy. That having been said, the story rollicks on in Mr Archers inimitable style. Still a good pacey yarn!

As always extremely readable but nowhere near his best work...in fact the end didn't seem like an ending...even though I realize it's to be continued...it ended before much was achieved....

I paid good money to get a story, not half a one. Even soap operas are more subtle! Not worthy of being called a finished work in any way - do we get a discount to read the end of it????
